So there’s a teacher that teaches at Mission College that does his grading here at my Starbucks…
And every time someone walks in the door I would put my phone down thinking it’s a customer…
But no.
They’re here to drop off or turn in their homework.

How do you explain that bitter-sweet feeling?
Is it bitter? Is it sweet? What does bitter-sweet taste like? Feel like? Does anyone have an answer? I get it quite often, but I’m not too fond when it comes to explaining it. At all, actually.

Awkward.
I’m programmed to say “you too” due to the amount of ‘have a great day’ (somewhere along those lines) greetings we get throughout the day. So uh, sir, you’re not all that perfect. It was just plain awkward.
Or like the other time when I was on register...
If you’re a cranky morning person-expect Starbucks employees to be cranky as well.
WHY?
Because we’re human too. It already sucks that we have to be awake early to open the damn store for you niggas to get coffee before school/work, but that does not give you an excuse to be a bitch to us and make us bow down to kiss your feet and treat you like a king/queen.
